Instant Ndizi Bhajia (Easy Banana Fritters)

Ndizi bhajia

Crispy, pillowy and goey! Enjoy these straight out of the fryer.

Ingredients

  • 1 large banana
  • 1 cup complete pancake mix (the ones where you only have to add water)
  • 1/2 cup water
  • heavy pinch of cardamom powder
  • oil for frying

Directions

  • preheat oil on medium high heat
  • mix pancake mix with cardamom powder
  • add water to make a thick batter

    Coat with batter

  • Add sliced banana
  • Drop into hot oil, spaced out
  • Turn as soon as it rises in the oil

  • Fry till golden brown (abt 4 mins)
